topography/weekend, part 2
On Sunday some friends and I made our way to a (more) remote beach, Long Ke Wan, in Sai Kung. After reaching the town centre via MTR and minibus, we took a green taxi that drove windingly through Sai Kung Country Park and dropped us off in an area that is apparently part of the geopark (there was a sign). The reservoir was milky and serene. Then we walked 1.5km down the hill, past a waterhole with tadpoles, to arrive at the beach, where some people were trying to start a bonfire.
I want to go again, maybe hike there so that I can take everything in more slowly.
